DTC= Dossier to China!
We are so happy and now one step closer to our daughter, praise God! We rushed our paperwork through the certification process and authentication process last week in the hopes that our dossier would be uploaded and sent to China last Friday. Unfortunately, we learned that Friday that we had been quoted an incorrect fee and the cashier's checks that we had mailed 3 weeks prior were incorrect. Ugh! That meant our dossier could not be sent and we had to resubmit the checks and wait another week for it to be submitted as our agency only sends dossiers on Friday. Although we were disappointed, ultimately it won't affect our timeline much as we are still waiting for our daughter's file to be completed. And....even more importantly, we realize that this whole process is in God's hands and He knows the exact timing she is to be in our arms! Our next step is LID (Log in date)- when China logs in our dossier into the system! I know...so many acronyms!!
