"It's too hard to wait!!"

It's been a long 6 1/2 weeks.....although who is counting?   Yes, this mama!  We are still patiently waiting for our sweet daughter's file to be given to us.  We have learned that the orphanage has had it prepared for at least a month, but that it is sitting on a director-in-charge's desk at a provincial office waiting to get approved and sent to Beijing.  We've emailed our agency weekly checking on the status, and she has been contacting Beijing and most recently the orphanage trying to speed things up.  We just learned that the files have been approved, but that the director is completing other files from a different orphanage and will send them all together.   Sigh.......

Would you please join us and pray that they send her file SOON and that we can be one step closer to bringing our daughter home?

Once we get the file, we then begin the wait for our LOA (Letter of Approval) which has taken lately between 40-100+ days.  So, our travel time is still very up in the air.

Our church sent an awesome team today to the Philippines and boarded a flight this afternoon from JFK to Beijing for the first leg of their trip.  Seeing the photos displayed of the plane brought back so many memories of our trip to China for Emily and gave me such a longing to be on the plane to get our daughter.  "It's too hard to wait," as Emily always says!  I know His timing is always perfect, and I am trying to be as patient as possible.

We are extremely busy with baseball games and running the boys here and there to different ball fields.  Both boys are doing great and have home run balls to show for it!

I'm so proud of them and love to watch them play!!  I'm so blessed!!

Emily is doing wonderful.

Her speech is really improving and we are looking forward to our cleft team appointment at the end of the month.

So, our lives are full....but there is still a little girl on the other side of the ocean that has a piece of my heart.  I pray we can post great news SOON!!!
