We are in the Matching Room!

I know...all of these terms are confusing to those not familiar with International Adoption, but this is good news!!  In the process of waiting for our LOA (Letter of Approval), our dossier (our life history) had to go through the following stages:

Dossier To China (DTC)- done!  4/11/14
Log In Date (LID)- done! 4/21/14
Received Shay's file-  7/18/14 and submitted our Letter of Intent (LOI) to adopt her.
Out of Translation (OOT)- done!   We're not sure of the exact date.  But we were told on 8/4/14 that we were already OOT.
Reviewed - done....finally!!!  9/11/14

Next up....

Matched Reviewed (called a soft LOA, meaning that once you have this you are approved and the hard copy of the LOA is on its way to the agency!)
LOA

So, that means....drum roll....we should be getting our LOA in our hands within about 2 weeks!  Hopefully one, but I'm preparing myself for 2!  We are then 8-10 weeks to travel!!  Whoohoo!  

We are coming sweet girl....it's felt like a marathon and there is a little sister who Can. Not. Wait to meet you and has thought of you DAILY since she saw your photo.  We are getting a package together including a family photo album, backpack, and thumb drive to hopefully get more photos back from the orphange.    It's finally starting to feel real!!
